Milner Smeaton was established in 2016 by John Milner and Hayley Smeaton. They worked closely in their past roles heading up the accounts and taxation departments at a medium sized well established local firm. They both share the same passion and vision to provide a personal, hands on service delivered to the professional standards of a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser.
John and Hayley have a combined 30 years experience providing outstanding personal service to a variety of sized clients from individuals, unincorporated trades to corporate groups. They work best as a team combining their skills to provide a fully comprehensive service putting the needs of their clients at the centre of everything they do.

JOHN MILNER ACA
John started his accountancy career at the age of 16 on an apprentice programme in 1997 at a large local firm and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2005. He became a member of ICAEW in 2012. John has over 10 years experience of managing a diverse portfolio of clients from small owner managed business to large companies and groups.

Hayley has over 10 years experience working at HM Revenue & Customs. She gained a first class degree in Accounting and Finance in 2003 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2006, in 2007 she became a Chartered Tax Adviser. Hayley has 8 years experience of managing the full tax department of a medium size local practice to cover diverse clients from high net worth individuals to large companies and groups.
